Terms and Conditions of Business for Advertisers using PubAffairs Services
PubAffairs is the trading name of PubAffairs Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 05952320, registered office: 2 The Close, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 4DJ. All postal correspondance should be sent only to PubAffairs Ltd., PO BOX 56612, London W13 9WQ.
By agreeing to pay for an advertisement to be posted on the PubAffairs website and/or circulated by PubAffairs the Client is deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
Following agreement on price between PubAffairs and the Client, and after acknowledging receipt of the final approved copy of the advertisement, PubAffairs will circulate an advertisement to PubAffairs subscribers by e-mail only and/or will post the advertisement on the PubAffairs website. PubAffairs will agree with the Client a time period during which the advertisement will be circulated and/or posted on the PubAffairs website. Whilst every effort will be made to circulate the advertisement and/or post the advertisement on the PubAffairs website within the agreed time period, PubAffairs accepts no responsibility for the consequences of technical faults, all other interruptions or delays to providing the service, however these may be caused.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that advertisements submitted for circulation and/or posting on the PubAffairs website by PubAffairs comply with English and international laws. Advertisements submitted to PubAffairs for circulation and/or posting on the PubAffairs website must be legal, decent, honest and truthful. PubAffairs reserves the right to refuse and/or amend any advertisement from the Client.
PubAffairs does not guarantee responses to advertisements. The Client agrees not to hold PubAffairs liable for the responses or enquiries generated by the advertisement.
PubAffairs will not place the Client’s advertisement on other websites. The Client agrees not to hold PubAffairs liable for any unauthorised copying or reproduction of advertisement content by third parties outside the control of PubAffairs. After circulating the advertisement to the PubAffairs subscribers and/or posting the advertisement on the PubAffairs website, PubAffairs retains the copyright on the advertisement.
Invoices will be issued following the circulation and/or posting on the website of advertisements. PubAffairs invoices are due for payment within 21 days of issue. PubAffairs reserves the right to charge interest on any sums outstanding after the payment due date until the date of payment at a rate of 3% above the Lloyds TSB bank rate.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law. Any disputes shall be decided by the English courts. These terms and conditions of business are effective from 26 September 2007.
